Project Summary:
This installation was created as part of a site-specific activation for Lenskart Singapore at Funan, designed to invite reflection on vision, perception, and personal growth in the year 2024. Inspired by Richard Kolt’s interpretation of the Dragon’s Eye — a symbol representing the cyclical nature of choice — the work features a series of painted dragon eyes paired with a participatory community wall.
Visitors were invited to reflect on their vision for the new year by penning personal intentions onto spectacle frames sponsored by Lenskart, which were then displayed alongside the artwork. Together, the spiral installation and the growing wall of reflections formed a collective vision board — a space to consider the past, observe the present, and imagine what’s to come.
