Commissioned by Our Tampines Hub
Project Summary:
Designed a community art installation for Our Tampines Hub in celebration of SG60. Worked closely with INDC to design a 13 metre-long structure that was suspended across the atrium of Our Tampines Hub. Members of the community were invited to paint their wishes and love to Tampines on the exterior shell of the "mothership". This airship embodies the festival's co-creation theme, where individual efforts, expressions and materials are gathered, assembled and lifted into a shared form. Each participant's input, however small, becomes part of the structural logic of the whole.
